About Us
Colwill Contracting Ltd was set up in 2001 to work in partnership with our sister company Colwill Plant and Transport. Our knowledge and expertise has been built up over the last 45 years. Our work has led to our involvment with projects such as the construction of canals, locks, coffer damms, roads and sewerage systems. We have extensive experience with excavations, site clearance and general ground and earthworks.
Over recent years we have diversified into working with the environment. Our involvement has lead us, through water level management, to aid the regeneration of worked out peat bogs and areas of natural beauty that fall within the constraints of SSI. This work has included the installation of steel & plastic piling, weir construction and drainage improvements.
Working closely with local internal drainage boards we offer a range of watercourse management solutions. Our yearly maintenance programmes cover 85 miles of drains and ditches. These are carried out sympathetically to ensure the natural environment and ecosystems are encouraged. Our dedicated team are always on hand to offer the best service and knowledge available to our customers.
